What to expect in Stranger Things season 5
Since things ended off on quite a sombre note, viewers of Stranger Things are anticipating a great season ahead that will tie up all the loose ends because we all have questions!
Sadly, season five will be the final season of the franchise but we can expect it to be the biggest season yet.
Even though it seems like all is lost, we know the Hawkins clan always have something up their sleeve to save their hometown so why should the next be different?
Now that we know Vecna is in fact not dead and possibly licking his wounds, we have some other questions like whether Max will wake up and is Will going to confess his love for Mike?
There are so many things we are waiting to see and like Vecna said, “This is only the beginning of the end.”
Will it end with season 5?
After four successful seasons, the Duffer Brothers took to social media to reveal the way forward for the series and relayed that Stranger Things will indeed end with season 5.

“Seven years ago, we planned the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four but — as you’ll soon see for yourselves – – we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be our penultimate season; season 5 will be the last.”
While this may be sad news for fans, the Duffer Brother’s has never disappointed and will not be wasting time doing so with their final bow down.
When will season 5 be released?
Well, according to a post shared by Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), which has since been deleted, Stranger Things season 5 is slated for release on the 15th of May in 2024. See the poster below.
