1. Bridgerton
For all the period piece lovers, the much-loved and acclaimed series Bridgerton will be returning with a third season this May. The official release date for the series will take place on the 16th of May.
If you have been following the series from season one, we are now focusing on the love story of Collin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. In the franchise’s predecessors, Daphne Bridgerton and Anthony Bridgerton have found their happily ever after and are now cheering on their brother’s quest for love. This regency era series will be a little spicy this season.
2. The 8 Show
If you loved Squid Game or Alice in Borderland, The 8 Show is something worth watching. As per the synopsis by Netflix, the series follows eight individuals trapped in a mysterious 8 story mansion, in where they participate in a dangerous game show from which they earn money as time passes.
The series is slated for release on the 17th of May.
3. Super Rich in Korea
Following a similar backdrop of the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills or perhaps Keeping up with the Kardashians, Super Rich in Korea is a reality show that captures the lives of high-end individuals, with a focus on how they spend their money, where they go to dine, maybe a little drama, and much more.
You can start watching the reality series on the 7th of May.
4. Buying London
For the love of lavish homes and big budgets, Buying London is an addition to the many reality shows based on the real estate market for the big spenders. The series will compete with popular shows such as Selling Sunset, Buying Beverly Hills, and Selling Orange County to name a few. It will air on the 22nd of May.
5. Garouden: The way of the Lone Wolf
This one is for all the anime lovers. If you’ve watched Baki Hanma, Kengan Ashura, or any other martial arts anime, this one will pique your interest. Like the latter, the main character Juzo Fugimaki joins an illicit tournament in which he faces the top martial artists in deadly matches. The series will be streaming on the 23rd of May.
6. Eric
The new drama series Eric follows a father in distress whose son disappeared one day on the way to school. Turning to a drawing for emotional support, his father keeps the drawing of a blue monster named Eric crafted by his son. In an attempt to get his son back home, the successful children’s show creator forms an obsession with the drawing and goes on a pursuit to get the story Eric on tv.

7. Unfrosted
On a lighter note, set in 1963, two cereal rivals Kelloggs and Post race to create a pastry that will change the world. The comedy film starrs Melissa McCarthy and Amy Schumer as the cereal rivals, alongside Hugh Grant, to name a few. The film airs on May 3rd.

8. Atlas
In a world where AI rules, life can be a little crazy when you leave yours at the hands of it. According to the synopsis, this action-packed drama follows ‘a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it.’
Atlas officially streams on the 24th of May.
9. Ashley Madison
A little scandal might tickle your fancy in this documentary which streams on the 15th of May.
To share a little back story, Ashley Madison was an online platform in where people could live out there darkest fantasies. However, when the platform gets hacked, the sensitive information of many users of the platform ends up leaked. This unfortunately led to the demise of many marriages and many lives destroyed.
10. Katt Williams: Woke Foke
As a part of the Netflix is a Joke Fest, Katt Williams will debut his new comedy special on May 5th. The event will take place live on Netflix.
