If you love award shows, you’ve come to the right place! As the year already kicked off with The Critics Choice Awards as well as the Emmy Awards, we’ll jot down the dates for the rest of the award shows for the year 2024.
GRAMMY Awards
First and foremost, our favorite award show thus far is the GRAMMY Awards. According to Entertainment Tonight, the GRAMMY Awards will take place on the 4th of February this year.
The award show will be hosted by our very own, Trevor Noah for the fourth time in a row. In South African time, the show will officially stream at 3am on the 4th of February. However, viewers will be able to watch the show around 8 PM on the same day.
Academy Awards
The Academy Awards has been confirmed to be taking place on the 10th of March this year but before then, viewers will find out the nominees for the different categories . This will take place on the 23rd of January.
As for the host, it was announced on the 15th of November that Jimmy Kimmel will once again host the Oscars.
BET Awards
For regular BET Awards watchers, it is pretty much a given on when the award show takes place. However, for confirmation purposes, the award show will take place on the 30th of June this year. While a time is not available yet, this article will be updated should more information be available.
MTV Video Music Awards
The current estimated date for the MTV VMA’s is set for Sunday the 8th of September. An official time for the event is yet to be revealed. While the official announcement needs to be made, keep your eyes peeled for more updates and developments.
Billboard Music Awards
Honoring the hottest artists and music in the industry, the Billboard Music Awards is reportedly taking place on the 17th of November.
In 2023, singer Mariah Carey took to the stage to sing her hit song, All I want for Christmas is You. The singer reached a milestone with her track as the most streamed Christmas song in the holiday season. Her track rose to the top at number 1 on the Billboard 100 and broke the Spotify streaming record.
